Brain Science

I like to understand how things work. I remember when I was a little kid, I received a train set as a gift. In next to no time, it was in pieces—completely disassembled.

Often, while reading an article or listening to a podcast, I find something intriguing or something I don't quite understand. I then open Gemini and have a Q&A session, starting by asking about the topic I've just encountered. I follow up with questions that improve or deepen my understanding, and when I'm done, I turn it into an article.

In this section on Brain Science, I have put together articles that explain the physical structure of the brain and how it produces and uses energy. You can find information on different brain regions as well as how certain nutrients support long-term health and longevity.

I heard the term "Energy Transformation" and wanted to know what that meant. This is the result of that enquiry.

A short introduction to the different regions of the brain.

Andrew Huberman and Dr. Rhonda Patrick discuss actionable protocols for health and performance. They explore hormesis—using deliberate heat and cold exposure to trigger cellular repair. Additionally, they detail three critical micronutrients for longevity: Omega-3 fatty acids, Vitamin D, and Magnesium
